Situation

  • Most clinics still run on paper registers. Patient history sits in files that get lost, so doctors ask the same questions at every visit.
  • Appointments are walk-in only, so queues are long and unpredictable.
  • India's ABDM health-record mission runs on digital records, and clinics on paper can't take part.

Task

  • A records and practice system a single-doctor clinic can start using in a day, at a price it can afford.
  • Ready for ABDM, and simple for patients to use on their own phones.

Action

  • Built Orbit Care, our own platform: patient registration, EMR, encounters, prescriptions and lab workflows.
  • Added scheduling with reminders and queue management across doctors and locations.
  • Added GST-ready billing and dashboards for clinical, operational and financial performance.
  • Launched a patient mobile app with a clinic marketplace, and secured an ABDM M1 sandbox licence.

Result

  • 10 pilot clinics live across Karnataka
  • M1 ABDM sandbox licence in place
  • 1 platform for records, appointments, billing and patients
